Modern interpretation of the Traditional masks . with chrome/gold lining that adorns the Blood Red/Smalt Blue shell. there were no such thing as female samurai, but between 12th to 19th century , there was a rise in female Japanese warriors that participated in battles alongside men. wanted to bring that forward again, in present time. empowerment
