$KINLORD x SYARAWI™ : Heart Of It All
The fragility of this life- is intriguing; the excitements, sadness & deaths that come with it.
A cycle as old as time.
This is a symbol of transitions, the life cycles.
What better way 2 portray them than with a device that measures the heart of it all
based on "ONE LIFE, ELECTRIC" words by Dr Azrin Mi ($kinlord)

THE COLLABORATION
Azrin ($kinlord) came to me for a collaboration but with a specific request, I truly didn't understand the whole medical terminologies but I knew what it was in general, his vision was clear. the ECG machine came to mind, naturally. something bout the graphs~ don't they make you feel somewhat 'analog'?
Instead of sticking to the 'standard' ECG machine, I decided to design our own.
"An ECG that shows the transitions of birth to death, portraying the hurdles and challenges" ~ that's pretty much how I would sum up the idea.
Azrin had written out proper segments for each age range, which was brilliant.

DESIGN PROCESS
heavily influenced by the early Hi-Fi era, and just a little touch of post-century modern curves. knobs enough 'surface' for me to whack the texts?
Had to do the text n graphs. no idea how.
went through tons of tutorials for this piece.
it would be rude to not mention Dieter Rams as my main inspiration, especially on his early works on BRAUN
So to better showcase the age progression, I've decided to stick to the following rules:
1) portrayed that age range with a few choices of material (same design)
2) Each one has its own 'song', fitting for that stage in time. the Finale? Nocturne in E-flat major,Op.9,No.2 by Chopin
